Lost voice

I've lost my voice and can only whisper at people today. It's not even a seductively husky whisper, just a feeble one. At least I'm staying with family who are being sympathetic and feeding me tea and porridge.

oo, I had something very similar the other day, for a couple of mornings a few days after I'd otherwise felt I'd entirely recovered from a nasty 3 day cold.
