I haven't tried 'When Will There Be Good News' yet, but I really struggled with 'One Good Turn', the one she wrote before that. I liked 'Case Histories', the first of the detectivey ones, and all the novels before that, although 'Behind the Scenes at the Museum' is definitely her best.
If you liked 'Behind the Scenes at the Museum' you might like 'The Facts of Life' by Graham Joyce, which I've just read and really enjoyed.
