Minor mishaps

Recently I have found myself turning blue. In the literal sense, as dye is leaching out of my fairly new jeans. I've been working in a wet environment with ammonia around, which has done a great job of fixing the dye to my legs. Although some has come off onto my favourite fluffy white towel and seems to want to stay there. Sigh.

This morning I drove my little sports car through a flood which turned out to be alarmingly deep and extensive. I was very relieved it made it through. The radio tells me the river has burst its banks and the road in question is now closed.
