More Christmas socialising

Intrusion last week was fun. There were fewer people than usual as it was out of term-time, but the people I most wanted to see were all there. The music was bouncy and very much to my taste. I was a little embarrassed that I ran out of energy before zandev and had to drag him off the dance-floor so we could go home.

Many thanks to both sesquipedality and killalla for feeding me mulled wine and snacks recently. There were also lots of cocktails on Friday evening as a group of us helped snowspider to celebrate her birthday. Overall, my liver is suffering...

Saturday evening was slightly more sober and chrestomancy cooked us a fine dinner in his new house. The bookcase made of books is fantastic.

I've seen lots of visitors from out-of-town over the last few days which has been great. I've also finished work for the year and today I finished my tax return. So now I can relax properly!
