Miscellaneous music
Jan. 12th, 2007 12:45 pmAt Intrusion on Tuesday, the music was good in a goth way but not particularly varied. There is usually more heavy rock and some bouncier 80s stuff to get everyone dancing. davefish and keris again though.
Last nightinvisiblechoir fed me some excellent port and tried to expand my musical tastes (we overlap in the mid-90s, but otherwise our CD collections are very different). It turns out that I like Goldrush a lot and I was surprised by how much they sound like the Eagles in places (not in a bad way). The Elected are enjoyable too and I confirmed my appreciation of the solo material produced by Cerys Matthews since she moved to Nashville.
