Brand new chain mail gloves

I'm sitting in my little grey office (which is mostly covered in posters of sports cars) and listening to someone sawing through metal. And I'm feeling pleased with the world, because I just unwrapped some shiny new chain mail gloves. They are designed to protect me from my own incompetence when working with knives. And they are very shiny indeed :)

Last night I saw a stripped-down version of The Epstein at the QI bar. Damn they're good. If I wasn't already double-booked on Saturday, I'd go and see them again.

oooh, neat... how fine is the mail, are they relatively lightweight or big chunky things ?

They are fairly chunky. Generally you only wear one on the hand which isn't holding a knife, as they make it quite difficult to grip things well.
