New Year, New Diary

New Year's Eve was fun and zandev had over-catered just as much as usual. I also learned that markbanang makes wonderful sushi. I got a new evening dress for Christmas (emerald green velvet in a 1920s style) and was pleased to have an early excuse to wear it. There were lots of visitors from far afield (Madrid and Canada) and I've managed to spend plenty of time with them over the last few days, which has been very welcome.

I've never been one for planning ahead, but I'm slightly amazed to find that I've just put up my shiny new year planner and have nothing I need to put on it yet. All my weekends are also currently unplanned, so if you've been wanting to catch up with me, now would be a great time to suggest meeting up!

'twas a pity i couldn't make it along to the party, but wasn't really feeling up to socialising, and fortunately markbanang still had some sushi ingredients left for last night !

am now feeling much improved, and meeting up would be good - most evenings next week are good for me ?

There are Epstein gigs on Saturdays the 13th and 20th. The only thing stopping me from organising people to go to these is that I'm likely to be in London on at least one and possibly both dates.
